About The Role
We are seeking experienced Landlord and Tenant specialists to join our expanding Lease Advisory team, which has established an excellent reputation for delivering ethical, evidence-led and commercially robust advice. CPRA’s Lease Advisory mandates are typically high-value cases across the retail, office, industrial and hospitality sectors, acting for both landlords and occupiers.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience advising on lease event matters and will be confident handling negotiations independently while providing clear and consistent updates to our London headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of 50-100 live lease advisory cases, including rent reviews, lease renewals, break clauses, re-gears, and lease exit negotiations.
- Provide expert advice on landlord and tenant matters across a range of commercial property types.
- Prepare detailed valuation reports and reasoned negotiation strategies.
- Represent clients in negotiations with counterparties and their agents.
- Support clients through arbitration, independent expert referrals or other dispute resolution processes as required.
- Produce clear interim and final written reports for clients and senior management.
- Maintain high standards of communication, professional conduct, and record-keeping throughout.
- Uphold CPRA’s ethical, independent and evidence-driven approach at all times.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Lease Advisory / Landlord & Tenant matters.
- Demonstrable experience acting for both landlords and occupiers.
- Strong technical understanding of valuation, lease terms, rent review mechanisms and relevant legislation.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Professional, organised, and client-focused approach.
- RICS membership preferred; full professional support available.
